Staying Out Of Trouble

Don't envy bad people; don't even want to be around them.  All they think about is causing a disturbance; all they talk about is making trouble.
Proverbs 24: 1-2

This verse in my 7 year old's devotional book could not have come at a better time!  Seriously, the Lord knows exactly what we need to hear...and when we need to hear it!  My oldest daughter has really had some struggles this year with peers in her class that just seem to continually make poor choices.  She is constantly saying, " I just don't want to be part of the drama.  I don't have time for that." I can safely say the same thing for my oldest son. I am proud that our children want to stand out for the right reasons.  I am proud that they want to do what it is right and pleasing to our loving  Savior. As our children continue to grow and develop relationships, I hope this is a verse that will be written on their heart!
